About the Doctor

Dr. Jacqueline Tucker is a Newfoundland native and graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (BSc.). Furthering her education, she attended Dalhousie Dental School in Halifax, Nova Scotia graduating with Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After practicing dentistry for several years locally, Dr. Tucker attended Western University in London, Ontario where she obtained a Masters Degree of Master of Clinical Dentistry (MCID). Dr. Tucker returned back to St. John’s, Newfoundland in 2003 where she became Newfoundland’s first female Orthodontist.

With over 25 years of dental experience, Dr. Jacqueline Tucker is an instrumental member of the local dental community. Her commitment and dedication to the profession has enabled her to become the President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Association and the President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Orthodontic Association to help improve the accessibility to dental services in her community.

As a licensed Orthodontist, Dr. Tucker is committed to delivering the best quality and care to all patients; including both clinical and patient experience.
